Charts
Geospatial charts
Two geographic figures. LUC ships no boundary data: the map name is registered by the caller, and a region without a value is drawn as no-data rather than as zero.
Choropleth
Pass the name of a registered map plus a value per region; a `null` value means no data and takes its own colour.
Choropleth
The map registered by this page is a synthetic grid, which proves the contract without shipping a boundary set.
Trajectories
Routes arrive as longitude/latitude polylines, and a leg that crosses ±180° is unwrapped so 179°E to 179°W is a short hop rather than a line across the whole chart.
Trajectories
The second route crosses the date line and is drawn unwrapped — the tooltip still reports the longitude the caller supplied.
Map policy
Boundary data is the caller's decision.
A world or country boundary file is large, carries a licence, and bundling one would choose a political boundary set on every consumer's behalf. `registerEChartsMap` is therefore an explicit, once-only call, and the projection and simplification stay on the caller's side.
