The expressive one
A pointer-driven spatial hero, a kinetic headline that assembles once, a client marquee, commissions that open in place, a full sleeve series with a real lightbox, and three surfaces that lean toward the cursor.

- What the browser test drives
- Move the pointer across the hero to see the layers separate, open a commission, open a sleeve in the gallery and step through it with the arrow keys, then close and confirm focus comes back.
- Appearance
- Electric violet with the editorial serif, the expressive personality and deep spatial depth — the loudest combination the system offers, on purpose.

We keep one number and let it do the work
Four commissions a year, from a converted sail loft in Leith. Every project below is governed by a single inherited constraint, and the whole run is shown rather than the best sleeve.
Selected commissions
Choose a piece to read the constraint behind it. The set stays visible, because a single cover can flatter anything.
Quiet/Loud, in full
Twelve sleeves with the rule applied. Open any one to view it full size, or step through the run in order.
How a commission runs
- 01Read the materialNothing is drawn in the first two weeks. We read what the client already has, including the parts they are embarrassed by.
- 02Find the one constraintA project needs one number or rule that everything else obeys. Ours is usually inherited from the press, the site or the archive.
- 03Show the set, not the sampleA single cover can flatter anything. We present the whole run so the rule is visible before it is explained.
We take four commissions a year. Two places are open for 2027.
